Is a BSN required for the Graduate Nurse Program?
- Graduates of ADN and BSN programs are encouraged to apply.
I graduated more than a year ago, am I still eligible for the Graduate Nurse Program?
- At this time we are only accepting applications from those candidates that have graduated within the past twelve months.
My clinical instructor wrote a letter of recommendation; do I need to ask them to complete the Clinical Evaluation form as well?
- Two Clinical Evaluations forms must be submitted in order for your application to be considered complete.
I have additional references or letters of recommendation I would like to include with my application, where should I send those?
- Additional letters of recommendation can be submitted with your initial application materials.
I emailed/faxed/mailed my application and am worried it was not received. How can I confirm that you received my application in its entirety?

I applied to the last Graduate Nurse Program. Do I need to apply again?
- Should you have applied in years past you will need to apply to this year’s program.
I applied for the Graduate Nurse Program. Do I need to apply to specific openings as well?
- By applying to the Graduate Nurse Program you are automatically considered for any open RN positions that consider new graduates. Please do not apply to other RN positions posted on the website.
What if I have not taken and passed my boards, can I still apply?
- We accept applications from candidates who have not yet graduated and have not yet taken and passed their boards, however, we do require candidates to have passed the NCLEX exam prior to starting in their new role.
How long is the program?
- The length of the program is dependent upon which unit you are hired into. Our Med/Surg units and other specialty units offer an orientation between 12 and 14 weeks, our Critical Care Internship is 20-weeks and our Operating Room Internship is six months.
I have been working as an RN outside of the hospital setting for the past year. Do I still qualify for the Graduate Nurse Program?
- Our Graduate Nurse Program is designed for those RNs who have less than six months of RN experience, regardless of the setting.
Is there an option to not be part of the Graduate Nurse Program yet still be hired as a new Graduate?
- Graduate Nurse applications will only be considered as part of the Graduate Nurse Program.
How many Graduate Nurses will be hired?
- The number of positions offered is dependent upon both organizational and unit needs and does vary from year to year.
When does the Program start?
- Program start dates are dependent upon which unit you are hired into. Positions on our Med/Surg and other Specialty units are offered on a rolling basis. Should you be offered a position in one of our Internships, we offer several start dates throughout the year. The specific dates do vary from year to year.
Will I be contacted regarding the status of my application?
- Should you be invited for a phone interview you will contacted via phone to schedule a date and time. Should you not be asked to move forward you will be notified via email.
