Orientation
We are proud to offer a year-long Graduate Nurse orientation program, which begins with 12-14 weeks dedicated to hospital orientation, systems-level nursing orientation, and unit-level clinical experience and didactics.
Working with trained preceptors, you'll learn the routine of the unit, master organizational skills and become confident with the computer applications related to nursing documentation.
As your orientation progresses, you will have the opportunity to take "field trips" to experience other Fletcher Allen departments, including the Cancer Center, Respiratory Therapy and the Operating Room.
